People like to put Cleveland down for a of reasons (yes, Browns are off to another losing season) but Cozumel is not in Cleveland proper, it is in Broadview Heights just west of I-75 and just north of Royalton Road in a very unassuming strip mall. I wasn't sure what to expect when we pulled up. On walkng through the door, however, we were greeted with hospitality seldom seen outside of the South. We may be gringroes but were greeted like long lost relatives, seated immediately, and very well attended to. The entire meal was a great experience, from the greeting to seating, the chips and really fresh salsa with lots of cilantro, drink orders, and then the entrees. Prices were cheaper than Mexican joints in Cbus area and portions were huge. We tried the evening's special, seafood nachos which is something you don't see on the menu very often and it was so good we doubled the order. I ordered The Combo ( cleverly named El Combo) mainly for the stuffed poblano. We all sampled each others burritos and enchiladas so I can verify that all were a hit. I grea up in the southwest and have spent time in mexico so I truly love Mexican food. This was some of the very best and at the most reasonable prices I have ever had. We were there for a fanily member's birthday and we discovered the wait staff has a sense of humor. They pretended they forgot about it, then sneaked up on the unsuspecting honeree unexpectedly with the big sombrero and the whipped cream. They then showed they can also sing quite well and in tune and on key. We sat around for a little bt with our take home boxes after we were done just visiting and enjoying the whole experience. Either Cozumel should be the number one restaurant in Broadview Heights (it's ranked third) or else the two above it are really exceptional because i think it would be very difficult to top this place. Sorry to the rounds of cafes I've frequented in Denver, Albuquerque, El Paso, Tucson , and elsewhere across the Southwest, but I have found a new favorite destination. Tripadvisor won't allow me to review it again until a year or so, but we will be back a lot until then. As Chef Justin Wilson would say, "It's so good,,,,I guarantee it."

Stopped in for quck meal on return from weekend trip. Store has the new order kiosks which I know some people love but I absolutely hate. For one thing, they don't list the current specials like the rattlesnake fries or the southwest avacado salad my gluten free wife wanted, so we had to order at register anyway. Cashier asked me what I thought of the new fangled contraptions and i told him they were pretty worthless. He was pleasant, treated my autistic son like a human being when he placed his own order, and we had almost no wait. Food was made quckly and correctly, not just slopped on the tray. On a weekend evening, the restaurant and the restrooms were clean. Overall, one of the better taco bell franchises I've been to- and I've been to a lot.
