We stopped at Isla Bonita for lunch while visiting Bainbridge Island. The food was decent, but not memorable. We had the combination plates - one, two or three entrees with rice and beans. My husband had an enchilada and tostada which he thought was bland. I had an enchilada which was okay, but not anything special. We also wished they had an ala carte menu without the rice and beans. The restaurant was nice and colorful and the service was good.

Rock solid with good food, good margaritas and good service. The "Margarita's Margarita" is very good...served chilled in a stemmed glass, the mark of a good margarita, so the ice doesn't interfere with the flavor. Worth a visit for sure when you're on Bainbridge Island! Just off the main street, easy to get to when you're in town. The food is very good with some Pacific NW twists on typical Mexican food. The servers were not teenagers, but mature, knowledgeable women that I suspect have been there for a while and know their stuff...very attentive too. Every time I go, it's good stuff! Chips, salsa, margaritas, tacos, etc. Nothing really stands out about Casa Rojas - it's your standard Mexican restaurant seen in any surburban area with brightly colored decorations and salsa stained menus. Usually no problem getting a table for a larger group and good place to take the kids.

Some of the best Mexican food that we have experienced in America. Superb menu, drinks were very good, prices very reasonable. Even the chips & salsa were very good. Service was excellent & atmosphere was exceptional. We have eaten Mexican food all over the United States, including the Southwest, & feel that Casa Rojas is one of the best!

TripAdvisor has this restaurant listed as CAFE Rojas, but it is Casa Rojas located at: 403 Madison Ave N. Suite 100, Bainbridge Island WA 98110 (in the Pavillion) -- telephone: 206.855-7999.If visiting Bainbridge Island, and you're looking for great, and unexpected Mexican cuisine, this is the place. Our family had a delicous meal of Enchilada's, Tostada's, and Burritos. The baskets of Tortilla chips were hot and fresh, and the salsa had just the right amount of spicy zing. Bainbridge Island was a lovely addition to our Seattle trip, before our cruise to Alaska. And, Casa Rojas was a welcome treat for lunch. We ate outside on a concrete deck rather than inside to enjoy the beautiful August day. However, did go inside to use the restroom and the interior is decorative and pleasant. Photos of our view outside at our lunchtime attached.
