We have not been to this restaurant in a while, however, it has always been one of our wifeâs favorite Mexican establishments. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good considering how crowded it was. With that being said, our food was nothing like what we remembered from past visits. I do not know if it is under new ownership or it was just an off day but my wife and I both felt that the quality of the food was significantly less appealing then just about any Mexican we have had recently? Our grandson wanted a hot dog and fries âkids mealâ and the hot dog was burnt and the bun petrified. We had to take him for a hamburger once we left the restaurant. Very disappointing experience overall and we will not be going back.

This is one of the fastest Taco Bell restaurants I have been to. There is lots of turn over but the staff is still always very nice. Inside is nice and clean. Only four stars because it is just fast food.

Great service from everyone. Fresh table side guacamole was good. Sangria was also good. Fajitas for to was a very generous serving size and less grease than most Mexican restaurants. The menu has a large selection of dishes to try. This is another restaurant that makes Avon Lake a great place to live.
We had been frequenting this restaurant for about 3 years. It has changed hand about once a year. This last change was not good. When we walked in, the maitreâd was told to help us to our seat. She rolled her eyes at the supervisor and walked to our table. She tossed the menuâs to the table. My wife thanked her but she said nothing to us. The waiter was good. I ordered a new dish called Burrito California. It was described in the menu to have either chicken or beef served in a burrito with cheese sauce, rice and beans and a side salad. I was surprised to find all of the ingredients inside of the wrap with a runny cheese over the wrap. I didnt say anything to the waiter due in part to my surprise. As we left the restaurant, my wife said âgood nightâ to the person who sat us. She stared at my wife and said nothing. That was probably our last visit to Las Casuelas until we see the âUnder New Managementâ sign again.

After a long Saturday, we ordered takeaway for 6 people from Don Ramon's, and found it to be completely, absolutely, average in all respects. The enchiladas were (literally) smothered in sauce, so much as to be basically unidentifiable. But the taste was blandly okay. The chicken quesadillas for the younger eaters were devoured without question. The salsa was equally bland, and surprisingly watery. We might try eating in the restaurant, but takeaway orders were packaged quickly and with little thought to the fact that they had to travel, and upon arrival EVERYTHING was piled in a mess in each container. Not impressive, at all. Completely average. We'll look for another Mexican place before we return.
