Wildwood Whiteley is perfectly situated right next to the cinema. We have an outside dining area, a large bar area for cocktails or coffees, a Deli full of lovely items for sale, and a cool kids room with toy's, games and dvd's.

Our first visit to this restaurant proved successful. We hadnt booked and there was no quibbling about walking in off the street. The front of house man is Antonio. The restaurant is authentically Spanish in its cuisine both with Tapas and full menu.We had tapas starters just to share the various choices across smaller portions! We chose from the SPecial fish board which was extensive and decided on the Fish mixed grill which consisted of local River trout; sea bass and Plaice. It was delicious. In typically Spanish style the main plate came with potatoes and then vegetables were served separately with the offer of further supplies if needed which made a change from restaurants nowadays. The wine list was clearly Spanish with some pleasant choices available. The wine is fairly pricey for the class of the place (sadly). When will restrateurs go with the option of reducing wine and selling more?A really good restaurant for the town of Fareham. The owners sense of humour was good for customers enjoyment too.

This lovely restaurant is an absolute gem.It ticks all the right boxes for pleasant decor, cleanliness, ambience etc, but more importantly, the food is divine My partner and I nipped in for a quick bite and indulged in the bargainous lunch menu (two courses for £10.45). We were both delighted by the quality and freshness of the dishes.I had sea bass with a wonderful wine and butter sauce and fresh vegetables, which was perfect. Even the delicate ribbons of carrot were scrumptious - and I've never enjoyed carrots before.Pudding was an elegant and rich panna cotta with red berries, it was truly heavenly .My partner had a chicken liver paté to start with, and the chicken main course. He was very pleased, and is anxious to return for further treats. The lady who served us was charming and very cheerful and courteous. If you're in the area, don't miss La Famiglia, and if you're not in the area, make the journey - you won't regret it!
