I don't understand the rave reviews. The food is average, not unpleasant, but the presentation is sadly lacking and unappetizing. For me there are much better choices in this town.

Four of us dined at Firenze several days ago and enjoyed the experience. There was a good variety of traditional Italian fare offered and some unusual dishes such as pasta with wild boar sauce. Service was attentive and friendly and the prices were not out of line when compared to other restaurants of the same caliber.

Marsala is a restaurant by the well known Mexican chef Marcela Bolano. It not only offers one of the best food available in Mexico but a mezcal bar with the best brands in the country.
In San Miguel de Allende for a long weekend, a friend and I enjoyed a leisurely Sunday brunch at Marsala. In a word, OMG! Here's what was terrific: everything. From the first spoonful of house-made Greek yoghurt (drizzled with honey, topped with fresh mango, fresh pineapple, fresh kiwi and fresh strawberries), the first bite of house-made pork terrine on house-made dark bread with plum conserve, and a blueberry scone direct from heaven, we moved on to our meal's centerpiece: Marsala's take on eggs Benedict.I've eaten a lot of eggs Benedict in my life, but these were a step beyond. On a base of brioche-turned-French-toast (with a just-right drizzle of maple syrup) perched two perfectly poached eggs. Atop the eggs, smoky bacon strips. The crowning glory, really marvelous lemony hollandaise. This dish was so extraordinarily wonderful that I was tempted to lick the plate, but restrained myself. We finished by sharing a slice of the restaurant's secret-recipe carrot cake: not gloppy with cream cheese, not sticky-sweet, the cake and its frosting were just exactly right. Ah, and the mimosas: freshly squeezed orange juice and bubbly, a generous glass was just the ticket to accompany the rest of our meal. Maybe it was two glasses, but who's counting? The chef and her front-of-the-house partner were as delicious as our brunch. Our service was impeccable. I wanna go back!Go. Just go. Be sure to make a reservation, the place was packed on our sun-dappled Sunday. Marsala is a do-not-miss in San Miguel de Allende.

We offer quality food with great atmosphere in the heart of San Miguel de Allende!
We like to graze and share different items, so this was the perfect place to us. There was always someone ready to take our order or reorder of food and wine. Very efficient. We shared the steak appetizer on toast, the olives, the pork belly, the olives, the jamon and tomato appetizer, and the grilled octopus. We will definitely return. They take reservations via Facebook messenger, so it is very easy to get in touch.

Leticia and her cousin are from Lebanon! They bring with them the true Lebanese hospitality and delicious foods. Everything is made fresh and so flavorful. I know you don't come to SMA for hummus and babaganoush, but you can't go home without eating at Fenicia. Try the mint lemonade. authentic, fresh, delicious and welcoming! This is a must try!
