We went last night and WOW! What a treat. I had âthe puercoâ and it was amazing with a delicious risotto. My wife had quinoa salad that was exquisite. The prices were good and the wine too! Thank you for a great dinner we will come back once more before the end of our stay.

El Sultan became a weekly (or sometimes daily) stable for me when I was in Escondido. Their food is all fresh made, delicious and extremely affordable. They even have a small climbing wall and aerial silks for play next to the restaurant. Make sure you try the Falafel wrap (or two) along with a Coco Frio : )

In the heart of Puerto Escondido and with over 15 years of experience, Las Margaritas is one of the best kept secrets of Puerto Escondido, exceptional cuisine, Mixed Oaxacan Sabores y Sabores del Mar, Las Margaritas offers one of the best experiences dini
I would highly recommend visiting Las Margaritas to anyone staying in Puerto Escondido. Located in the middle of the down-town area, Las Margaritas is a world away from the ultra-touristic commercialised strip of La Zicatela and serves real Oaxacan food at incredible prices. The restaurant is cool and spacious, the staff are attentive and friendly, and the food is packed with flavour and served generously. For those looking to escape some of the superficiality that can be found along the main hotel area, this is your spot.

We had salad with walnuts, apples and gorgonzola and 2 pizzas, the vegetarian and one with salami & olives, I would highly recommend all of them. Itâs in the details, great sauce, good cheese - good quality ingredients in the right proportions. When I saw the size of the glass of wine (large) I thought it may not be great, but I enjoyed it very much too. Thanks to the cook, weâre in Mexico for 4 months and need a good pizza some times.
The location is on Zicatela beach where you can watch the surfers and the sunset. We started with the guacamole appetizer...more than enough for two and d licious. I had a grilled fish fillet (Dorado) that was the best tasting that I can remember. My husband had grilled shrimp that he said was delicious. The service was perfect. Tables were beautifully set including bright cloth tablecloths. Very reasonably priced. We will definately eat there again when we return to Puerto Escondido.
