Had an enjoyable lunch with the great service of Leticia and owner Olivier. Leticiaâs friendliness coupled with Olivierâs attentiveness to details really made our lunch taste even better. We ordered the Duo of Tuna, Brandy Bisque Soup, Prawn Risotto and Spicy seafood spaghetti. Everything was delicious but my wife and I were exceptionally blown away by the Duo of Tuna! It was so amazing and concluded that no other restaurant will be able to do this. Thank you for a perfect Mother's Day, a superb menu; a clever fusion of traditional South African & Italian dishes served in a harvest-table style of sharing around the table. The setting is rustic, charming and the views are idyllic, all this resulting in a 4 hour lunch, eating, relaxing and chatting with other patrons and joined by talented Chef Morne. Our waitress Priscilla was equally charming and worked her magic around the room with her attentive service. The Retief farm, paired with The Blacksmith's Kitchen & Stubborn Man wines is to be shared and we look forward to seeing what Father's Day has to offer.

Large menu with specials on the wall. Heavy concentration on pizzas and steaks. In view of the main course options, I thought the starters needed increasing. Service slow but top class waiter.

Rule #1 in Paarl. Make sure your airconditioner is working. Temperatures often reach 40 deg c in Summer and this restaurant has been like a sauna inside for years with no effort by management to rectify the situation. This visit however took the cake. With a restaurant half full of irritable, sweaty patrons, two waitrons who were not coping at all, a kitchen in chaos and a drinks order that had still not materialised after half an hour, we eventually walked C'mon Ocean Basket, we know you can do better.
