Delicious Greek salad with grilled chicken. Chicken is grilled with some olive oil, salt and pepper. Very fresh! I have meant to try this place for a long time. I finally did and wasn't disappointed! Will be back!

This is the typical hole on the wall kind of a place; however, however they serve very traditional Persian (Iranian) kabobs with saffron rice, cooked tomatoes and different types: chicken, lamb, and beef.Their food is spectacular, very flavorful and super fresh! If you are looking for traditional Persian kabobs, look no further. Not an easy task to find good Persian places in Boston. This place is totally worth the drive out West if you are in the mood for great quality food.

Nestled in the chronically un-hip Christmas Tree Shoppes' Plaza, is a delightful Mediterranean restaurant with Shwarma, gyros, and kebabs. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, although many take out orders were picked up, and friends tell me that it is busier at lunch. Our meals were excellent, but the only reason they didn't have a fifth star is that the Baklava just wasn't very good. It looked. So. Very. Good. But it was such a bummer that it just didn't taste very good..... And FYI, no liquor license.Thank you for the nice review I am so glad you loved our food. We usually very busy on Fridays and probably the reason was the heavy rain you can bring you own liquor.

I first heard about it from watching "The Profit" on CNBC in which a venture capitalist decides to put money into a failing business and turn it around. The business was based the Pittsburgh region. I was in Pittsburgh on business and was in Market Square where there is a Simple Greek. I had lunch in there and loved it. The quality of the food was delicious and the atmosphere was light and comfortable. So when in Westboro last month, I wanted to enjoy that same meal again. BIG MISTAKE. While the model is the same (you pick a salad or sandwich to be made), the quality of the food was subpar. I had a salad. The gyro meat which was already presliced was OVERLY SALTY and DRY LIKE LEATHER. The Tzatziki sauce was OVERLY SALTY. The tomatoes and cucumbers were drowning in oil. What a disappointment! It was HORRID.Next the atmosphere. The franchise owner's design includes MOCKING the very customers needed to keep them in business. There are posters about how to pronounce the word gyro in which inauthentic pronunciations are made fun of. Since the food is about as authentic to Greece as French fries are to France, WHO ARE THEY KIDDING?I've worked in Greece and this place has NOTHING authentic to Greece.AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

I honestly don't understand the earlier, negative reviews of El-Basha, and thought it would be rated FAR higher. Having eaten at numerous Middle Eastern restaurants throughout the United States, I can honestly say - without hesitation - that El-Basha ranks among the BEST.A large group of us were staying at the nearby Doubletree Hilton in Westborough and made arrangements to eat at this restaurant. If you aren't staying at the Doubletree (or the nearby Hampton Inn), it is VERY easy to miss ... in fact, I passed it several times without knowing it was there. The restaurant is located in a non-descript "strip" mall with a handful of other businesses (there's a Thai restaurant right next door).First up was an order of hummus with a basket of bread ... YUM! Then we had a salad ... delicious. Then we ordered a couple of different entrees ... one with chicken, and one with fish, both on beds of rice. Both were magnificent! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return again when I'm in the area. HIGHLY recommend!!!
