We recently hired the private dining area to celebrate a Ruby Wedding anniversary. There were 24 of us in total and the space was perfect. We paid for decorations and a prosecco reception, both of which were very well done and created a lovely atmosphere. We had to pick food in advance but the menu was large and varied with dietary preferences catered for and all very good when it arrived. The service was exceptional - very attentive staff with an eye for sorting even the small details. Would definitely recommend.

The only diners On a Tuesday lunch. Clean but lacking in atmosphere! Menu at lunchtime at first glance looked quite ordinary, so we went for the specials, slow roasted belly pork ,mash and broccoli . Amazing! Best mash for years, BPork perfect. Red snapper with a leak resotto Was a great dish. Best resotto ever. Clearly a very skilled chef. We will be back for Sunday lunch very shortly!!

We visited Friday evening all tables inside were used, we would have loved to sit outside which looked lovely but it wasnât warm enough but there are patio heaters. The lady serving us was very efficient and friendly, the pizzas are first class and I look forward to returning. I read that it is open Early July till late summer, so may need to try their Heybridge restaurant next time.Dear w6jed,Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us, I m happy to hear you enjoyed your evening. Had a few beers around Moulsham Street before heading here for our dinner. Great selection of food but we plumped for the sets and were not disappointed, excellent tasty food served by friendly staff. We booked a table at Sark as weâd tried previously and they had always been busy. Weâd heard great things about this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Dining at Sark is like being invited into the family dinner, the staff are welcoming, the restaurant is cosy and the the food is fresh, full of traditional flavours and there is plenty of it. So much so we were able to bring some home for tomorrowâs lunch! You probably wouldnât need a started and a main course but if youâre going to go for it as our heading says donât eat all day. We will be back and rest assured we know you donât leave hungry!
