Stopped here for lunch based on the recommendation of trip advisor. The restaurant was full of local families enjoying traditional recipes. I had the soup which was very good, Mrs M had the Alheiras which was a traditional fried sausage dish which was excellent.For the main course we both opted for the Roast Veal which was very good, the roast potatoes were outstanding!! All in all 32 Euros for lunch and an insight into Portugeuse Cuisine, well worth stopping by

Lost of words to qualify this little typical Portuguese restaurant. The place is very small, but well decorated, clean, and the staff is just wonderful. This restaurant as Portuguese food, very tasteful. The amount of food is just extraordinary and the price is unbelievable. Two people, wine and desert 20â¬. Just excellent

Refeicoes simples, bem confecionadas economicas. espaco super agradavel. Visitamos a noite onde experimentamos uns chas otimos, e por termos gostado almocamos tambem no dia seguinte, sopa, sumo natural, pao, e prato de peixe, sobremesa tudo muito caseiro. Muito economico. Fiquei fã .

Good: The restaurant is a nice place to eat with a good view outside to the valley.The staff is nice and helpful. The food is quite good. You must order the "Bacalhau à Fisgas" (codfish) and the "Alheira" for entree.Not so good: The restaurant is in a small village with very narrow streets and sometimes was hard to find a parking space.

if you´re around you must stop at Arco do Baulhe and taste the dishes of this restaurante. Antonio´s a nice guy, always running around but keeps a restaurante for several years always improving the quality. there are always great wines and you should tast his specialty batatas da escola, but there are also great meat to taste.
