Turkish Cuisine. Wine and beer. Mediterranean cuisine. Halal foods,
Went there for dinner and tried the 3 course menu. Was really a surprise in terms of quality and presentation of falafel, stuffed grape leaves and baklava. Generous serving of falafel that was very crunchy on the outside with excellent seasoning. The baklava was much higher quality than what you can get in the fast food type Mediterranean type restuarants. Service was wonderful. Easy to miss from the outside and is located in the middle of a shopping center. Plenty of parking. They have Turkish music on some nights.

I stopped here for lunch because I was hungry for a gyro. Their standard gyro with fries and a soft drink is $9.95. I thought that was a little on the high side for what you got. They also serve burgers, sandwiches, etc. The gyro was pretty good with a fair amount of gyro meat. A super version with more meat is a dollar more. The fries were passable. This place is very popular with locals. It's really one of the last old fashioned diners around. It's small so if you go, try to arrive a little early or later, not at 12 noon when they are busiest. There is a counter area as well as several tables. Service is friendly.
First visit to a Mediterranean place means ordering the gyro. $5.99 got me the biggest, juiciest, most flavorful gyro that I have ever had. My wife got the chicken shawarma platter with rice and salad, and it was outstanding. This place is not close to home, but we are already planning our next visit.
Excellent restaurant, very friendly atmosphere, fine food, including the shwarma, the eggplant parmesan, the mediterranean plate, the Moroccan cigars, the potato latkes, the pizza, the falafel, and the matzo ball soup, indeed every thing I have tried. A true bistro in the European sense, where the owner is the chef, who comes out to greet you. Take-out and catering are also very convenient, This place and the owners, Avner and Karen, deserve a top rating.
I read that a new Mediterranean restaurant had opened nearby, and we went for dinner there last Saturday evening. I simply love this type of food, and I was very happy with our visit. The restaurant is large and has been tastefully redecorated with striking blue walls in the main dining area. We were seated in a very comfortable booth. We shared a cold appetizer plate of hummus, baba ghanoush, eggplant in sauce, and piyaz, served with hot pita, all yummy, especially the baba ghanoush. Our entrees were enormous in portion size: I had the chicken steak (grilled beautifully spiced boneless chicken thighs) and my spouse had the kofte (grilled marinated beef patties), both served with rice pilaf and shredded salad. We did not have room for any dessert. We definitely will return soon!
