Bobbing in the frothing North Atlantic, the remote, 18-piece Faroes are a picturesque patchwork of emerald pastures, dotted with sheep, gaily-hued cottages and tree-free moors. The sea is never more than three miles distant in this proud, assured land, where deep-rooted traditions remain strong. The coasts boast deep fjords, steep cliffs and looming headlands. Explore these fjords by wooden sloop or sail the coast by schooner. Walk the fells and brave the unpredictable weather to puffin spot.

New & modern 3-star rated hotel located in Torshavn, city centre. Close to shops, restaurants, public transport, culture, & sightseeing options. - For business & pleasure
Room in the 62 N Guestouse was very small and outdated, ok for a short stay only. Tasty and good quality complimentary breakfast in the hotel. Friendly staff and central location. Somewhat expensive like everything in the Faroe islands.

After biking around and sleeping in a tent for one week I arrived at Eysturlodge in Klacksvik. Kinga was the most service minded host I've ever met! Greeting me with warm food at every occasion I returned to the house and always available for tips and guidances around the Islands. Here and Ivan's home felt warm and welcoming with plenty of facilities and spotless! Would recommend the place at any time to anyone!

The hosts are very nice and the guesthouse is quite cozy. The location is 20minutes walking to the harbor in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood (not that the entire Faroe Islands are actually quite and pleasant). Definitely recommend this accommodation

Bed & Breakfast, Bed linen is included in the price. Breakfast is included in the price. Always feel free to call or send e-mail on request.
It has good views over Vestmanna harbour, and the guest house (it’s more like a hostel, actually) is functional – bed is OK, a basic cold breakfast is included, shared bathroom OK, washing machine, WiFi. There’s nothing in particular to recommend it, and it’s as characterless as you can get, but functional. The main drawback is that it’s noisy – people in the other rooms were inconsiderate, and there’s no notice up about maintaining reasonable noise levels. There’s no staff member present. Would I recommend it? Not really – it’s obviously just a side-line for the owner, who never appeared during my 2-day stay, and no effort has been put into managing it properly. There’s nothing in the area except the 90-minute bird-cliff trips, and as it only takes half an hour from either Sandavágur or Tórshavn, I’d recommend visiting Vestmanna just for a half-day.

Rannva and Mark are friendly and helpful when you get to meet them. If they are not avalilable there is a board telling everyone in which room they are. We were greeted with homemade cookies. Downstairs you can find the communal kitchen, dining oom and living room. Breakfast is very basic (muesli, little bread, spreads, juice, yoghurt). Upstairs there are four small rooms for six people, who all share one bathroom. The house is poorly soundproofed but for us it worked out ok. Wifi was good and there was also a computer available.
