The outdoor seating looked very inviting but we chose to sit indoor for more privacy and it was very nice too. Service was attentive and fast. Street parking is available but could be problematic depending on the time of day. We came for lunch on Sunday and we found parking about two blocks away. The tapas here are very good but on the pricey side. Even the complimentary bread and dipping sauce was very good too.

Found this place via Groupon.... Came in on a Friday night.... Good to go...The place was pretty crowded...Ordered some nachos... The came out hot and quick ..Ordered a couple combo dinners...Chips and salsa were good.. service was quick The only negatives were the small tables and it took a while for the check....We would come back ..

Come a little early for lunch as this place fills up quickly. The service here is a little quick, probably because they want to turn over tables quickly, although you don't feel rushed to enjoy your mean. Food is served very quickly. Pricing is reasonable. They do charge you if you order extra salsa beyond what is originally served, but ask for the bottle of extra hot sauce and make you try a dab first before spreading over your food. It has a good kick to it.

El Caminito Mexican Restaurant, Sunnyvale, CA I liked it with some reservation.I have eaten lunch at El Caminito restaurant on numerous occasions. Here is what I like. I ate a shrimp/prawn dish that was excellent; but I do not recall the precise name of it. I tried a 2nd shrimp dish and was unimpressed. On several occasions I have enjoyed the combination crisp taco with beef. It was good and the re fried beans and rice were tasty. What I do not care for is 1) Some days they play too noisy rock-like music and that disturbs my peace and quiet. 2) They had a superb waiter that seems to have been replaced by a mediocre waitress â for example â before she offers water and chips with salsa, she asks for your order. That is not good.

Ruby's has outdoor seating but when I visited it was filled with men sitting and standing around all the tables drinking beer. I didn't feel too comfortable inside the restaurant since everyone was speaking Spanish and I don't know Spanish. When it came time to place my order at a counter, the person taking it did speak to me in English so all communication was not lost. I paid first and sat down at a table awaiting for my food to get cooked. The food wasn't brought to me as there is no wait staff here. I had to go pick it up near the counter in which I initially placed my order. The tables to sit at were all dirty. I cleaned off as much of the previous guests mess that I could with some napkins. I had the Camarones a la Diabla ($12.99) to eat and a Corona beer ($3.68) to drink. The spicy shrimp came with refried beans, rice, and tortillas. The tortillas were warm, shrimp plentiful, sauce spicy, and beans were quite good. I was pleased with the food and the amount of it for the cost. There was a beer limit of 3 although one was all I cared for here. The atmosphere and service were both lacking.
