We stopped here for lunch on a weekday. The food was terrific and the service was professional and relaxing. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were very generous. We had the arugula salad, bay scallop stew, stuffed portobello, cod croquettes and the wrapped pork tenderloin. All were considered small plates but we wound up taking two full items home. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant serves really great Puerto Rican food. We were there for a graduation party and our host order a wonderful variety of food: pernil, arroz con pollo, plantains, oxtail and much more. What I really enjoyed was their pulpo salad with moist tender octopus in a very nice dressing. Brenda, the owner, keeps the food coming out and the restaurant clean. They make wonderful pasteles for Christmas and occasionally other times of the year. I love the artistic display of umbrellas in the alleyway next to the restaurant. When I was going up in New Britain this was a pretty tough neighborhood, but thanks to Brenda and other business owners like her, she has transformed Arch Street into a destination for great food. There is a dining room associated with the restaurant, but you order your food cafeteria style, pay for it and take it to your table. Free on site street parking.

We love Peruvian food, and were so excited to find Cora Cora. It's not much to look at outside, and isn't necessarily fancy inside. But oh, the food! It was everything we had hoped for. The only not-authentic thing was how quickly it was served. We had some friends along who had never had Peruvian food. They loved it of course. Everyone enjoyed the anticuchos, except me... not my thing. I started with tacu tacu. The pollo a la braza was wonderful, and the lomo saltado was excellent - even warmed up the next day. We got a little carried away and ordered way more than we could eat. We'll be back to try out the rest of the menu!

Puerto Vallarta is the perfect place for exceptional Mexican food. Everything is fresh. The guacamole is made in front of you and the service is wonderful. The restaurant is very spacious. If you have a larger party they can be accommodated but it is highly recommended to make a reservation first.
