Pachamanka Cafe & Resto - Open from 8:30 to 24. We have the flavors of the Quebarada de Humahuaca in our plates, drinks and Api-cofee services.
We just wanted to have a drink but ended up eating in the patio before going to hornocal. We had the prime beef (very big) and the cazuela de quinoa. Both really good! However, we had to wait 30 minutes for our table to be cleaned respectively to be able to order. I still recommend! We are gladly to read the opinionMany thank "lilo lago" by recommend us!!!!

This small restaurant is a slightly longer walk from the coach parking. It has a chilled atmosphere and helpful staff. We had the set menu with delicious fresh empansdas (stuffed full of flavoursome fillings and with perfect pastry), llama stew and cream caramel for 150 pesos.Free WiFi was an added bonus.

A small establishment in the town of Humahuaca, it was recommended by our local guide as a great lunch spot not frequented by the tour buses (it was very busy with primarily locals dining). The guide recommended the empanadas and we ordered the cheese and the vegetable empanadas and they were great - as good as any we had all week and we ate many! Humahuaca wasn't as interesting as Purmamarca or Tilcara but was a good spot to rest and enjoy lunch before our journey back to Salta and allowed us to see the afternoon lighting on the hills of the Humahuaca Gorge which was stunning.

We had dinner at Kâallapurca on a very quiet night. There was no band playing Andean music although it is advertised in their flyers, but this may happen in the weekends. We loved the food. The empanadas were very tasty. My husband had the llama which he claimed was perfectly cooked, while I, being a vegetarian, enjoyed a quinoa dish. There were several vegetarian dishes, which is unusual in this region. They had a wine sale that night so we ended up with a great bottle of Malbec for a fraction of its cost. Service was attentive and very professional. And this is the only restaurant accepting credit and debit cards in Humahuaca. In all, highly recommended.
Meals to the step, for all the taste. variety of vegetarian food, snacks and natural drinks to get an extravagant taste
Good food, beautiful setting, vegi if you want, little and sincere. Perfect for a lunch when visiting Humahuaca.
