Visited Shukuu on a Tuesday night and was surprised by the crowd on a weekday night! Indeed the food served was very exquisite and tasted amazing. Service was great too with the staff recommending whatâs the top seller. Ordered the charcoal grilled squid and it was prefect! Not too tough and well grilled! Mentaiko rosti was also very well done with the generous serving of mentaiko mayo! All in all, an izakaya place worth going!

Visited another branch of this restaurant for dinner which was very near to the hotel I was staying. Unagi is well-known as a energy booster and needed that. I was there 1hr before the closing time so it wasn't crowded. Seated at the counter so can see the Japanese chef grilling the unagi. Best unagi I had in S.E.A.

The last time I was there with my same 3 friends was Jan-19. Once again, we enjoyed the food which is very good. The service was excellent with very friendly, patient and attentive staff who aptly refilled our green tea. The cashier even waited patiently for me to buy the Chope voucher which had saved me 10% of the bill. I was really very grateful for her extreme patience. I think her name is Fahida (sorry if I remembered wrongly.) I would definitely be going back again as the sets are value for money too.
