As a born and bred North Shore girl, I grew up loving Pu Pu Platters...there's nothing in the Mid-Atlantic quite like it. This time we were hungry and on the road, so we tried someplace new. What a wonderful surprise!I'm not a healthy freak, and I want food to taste GOOD...and Shoyu managed to create absolutely delicious food that I still felt great about eating when we were finished!I've never had fried rice with fresher veggies, and everything on the pupu platter was amazing. My teens were excited to return as well as my husband. Can't wait to visit again on our next trip north!

We've passed Sake on Rt 1 Saugus many times & never thought to stop here. Our Loss! We finally dropped in for lunch & we enjoyed the friendly, comfortable atmosphere & staff. More important, the food was delicious. Their menu is extensive, so I'm certain there's something for everyone here. Now that we've found it, we'll be back!

I would return. I was skeptical the first time I tried this place because generally when a restaurant has sushi and General Gau's chicken, it's not a good sign. However, I have to say that this place does both sushi and familiar Chinese favorites pretty well. Nice clean decor, service is adequate. Good if you have a group to please or if you want a little of both.

Mai is a fantastic bartender and very warm and welcoming. She is very attentive and a hard worker. She's the reason why we'll come back again and again. It doesn't hurt that the sushi is good too. The ginger salad is a favorite of mine along with the avocado salad. Yummy! Fresh sushi and great service.

Just off Main Street in Melrose close to Malden. Nice ambiance with the chefs right there. They have tables, and a bar seating set up. Good service extensive menu with a lot of choices - all delicious. Nice touch is the tempura flakes in many of the maki's. A bit on the expensive side but who wants cheap sushi hang over. Free parking outside of the restaurant.
