Find out what Japanese restaurants to try in Rapid City. Rapid City has long been considered one of the gateways to the West, and its rich cowboy and Native American heritage is the result. Visitors won't want to miss the area's mammoth outdoor sculptures. There's Mount Rushmore, of course, but work also continues on the nearby Crazy Horse Memorial, which will be the largest sculpture in the world when it is finally completed years down the line. Among the many local attractions are the scenic Black Hills, several nearby cavern systems that offer guided tours and the South Dakota Air and Space Museum.

We love the hibachi at Fuji! Great food and entertainment for the entire family. One hint is to try them for lunch! A good price and you still leave with some leftovers. Another hint, if you don't like veggies on the hibachi, ask for extra rice. Can't go wrong with Fuji!

Fresh and bursting with flavor is what Fuji Sushi & Sake Bar has to offer. Serving the Rapid city, SD area, we provide great tasting food that's prepared fresh with the highest quality of ingredients.
Fuji never disappoints. Their service is always on point! The food can't be beat! The special right now is a Holy Moly Roll and if you can get there quick, do it!!! Oh, and look out for that homemade pineapple sake!

I had the chicken bulgogi, it was very good. The soup and salad starters were pretty standard to what you usually get at an Asian restaurant. The only problem I had with the dish was a lack of vegetables. The menu says it comes with vegetables but there was just some shredded cabbage that the chicken was laid on. The flavor of the chicken made up for it although it said it was spicy, it wasn't very spicy. I'd go back and ask for extra spicy. My wife had the fried rice, she said it lacked flavor. Based on that she said she wouldn't return. Over all I'd say that this restaurant is worth a try.

This little veteran-owned Japanese restaurant on E. Main is a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly. They have several fun appetizers, great sushi options, including specialty rolls, and several main dish options. They also have a menu of different sakis. Our favorite meal is the Pork Bulgogi.

We love eating Japanese food and decided to go to this restaurant. No cooking in front of you but plenty of other dishes and sushi. Service was slow however finally got order in. My wife and I got our food after waiting however neither of our grandkids meals came. One had ordered sushi and the other a dish off of menu. We finished ours since we did not want to get cold. Waited almost another half an hour for kids food to come. In all of my travels this was by far the poorest service I have even seen. The one time that I asked about the kids order was told that they had allot of carry out orders for sushi and they did them in the order taken. Totally unacceptable when you order four meals at their place to eat. Seemed very disorganized and was obvious that 2 of the people working there either were not trained or did not care. Very poor management. They did take a small percentage off our bill but they should have taken both kids meals off. I would never go back or recommend anybody to go here.
