We had dinner here on a Thursday night. Very nice ambience. The place is well laid out and spacious. The staff were very friendly and professional. And the sushi was exceptional. I recommend the tuna and the salmon sushi, together with the OMG roll. The yaki soba was also very tasty. This is an excellent option for sushi if you were staying in or visiting Pismo Beach. There is also a very romantic, beautiful view of the coastline.

We frequently go here when we are in the Pismo beach/Shell Beach area. The sushi is incredibly fresh. The prices, while not cheap, are reasonable for the products they serve. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. While they are efficient, they do not rush you.

A local friend took me there before a mani/pedi....mountain roll was amazing, edamame was fresh & hot & the tea was made to order....it looks like a take out place but was pleasantly surprised how much it felt like a sit down restaurant...highly recommend, enjoy!

The name of this restaurant has changed from Drauma Sushi to Yanagi. Baked Mussels are a favorite of mine and while the preparation of this dish was different, it was good. I did miss the sweet sauce that I have had at other venues. I asked about the most popular roll among the locals, and the chef suggested the Hot Night. It had a nice flavor with just the right amount of heat.

Love sushi (husband doesn't) but it satisfied us both and we are thankful our local friends took us here. They have traditional sushi/sashimi/entrees but also very creative rolls and other items. All the fish is fresh, tasty & gorgeous presentation. It reminded us of our favorite hometown sushi place, Yashima in Covina, CA....enjoy!
