Frankly, the decor here is nothing to write home about. It's very expensive too.But you know what? It's worth it.The portions are HUGE.The food is carefully prepared, and delicious. The sashimi is excellent quality, as is the 'miso' soup... which is actually like a shrimp flavored Chinese soup.Startling, but DELICIOUS (although rather salty). The portions are so big that it's almost a turn-off, ironically. The waitress made the whole experience. She smiles and laughs constantly, and is obviously SINCERE. If she was a waitress in the US she would get 25% tips. She's charm personified.Warning: they only take two 'tickets restos' per person, if you choose to go that route. Also: 5⬠per beer is too much, but they are forgiven, because it's impossible to leave this place without a full stomach and a smile on your face.A winner.

This Japanese restaurant is conveniently located in front of a cinema (and therefore takes advantage of the Wifi - which I couldnt log in ...). The atmosphere is pretty nice as they locate the tables well, therefore whether you come in 1 or 50, there are enough places for you to have your own privacy while enjoying your meal.We (3 people) ordered a set of sushi boat and 2 plates of yakitori along with 2 miso soups and 2 bowls of rice (50euros) and some desserts (5-6,5euros for each). The miso soup was a big disappointment because they put too much onion, NO tofu at all, and 2 thin slides of mushroom make no sense at all. The seaweed seems dead floating around the bowl. Seriously you can buy instant miso soup and it is better than this. The miso soup goes out along with some pickled cabbage too. However my advice is to eat this cabbage with the grilled meat sticks later on. The next one is the sushi boat. Well, for a person who tries sushi for the 1st time, it might be good. For someone like me who have tried many places of sushi, the boat has some small problems. To me, the fish is not really really fresh because it doesng really melt down in your mouth. It feels slighty chewy (not that kind of gum chewy) and that is not a good sign. Probably I came on Jan 2, which is right after the holiday so they couldnt find a better source of fish? Also there is not enough pickled ginger, but you may ask for more (free) I guess. Next course is the Yakitori!! There are 5 sticks on each plate: salmon, tuna, beef, meat ball made of pork, and the last one I dont remember :P They cook in such a way that both meat and fish are cooked thoroughly but so so soft, yet there is crunchiness outside. Tr taste of teriyaki sauce is absorbed into the meat so so nice. My favourite is definitely the meat ball stick. It is incredibably soft and tasty, and if you eat it with the rice and a bit of pickled cabbage, the crunchiness of cabbage along with the softness of rice and significant taste of the meat balls - they all make a harmony and bring you to the heaven (well at least for me it was true!). We ordered some desserts but none of them are quite good, except for chocolate icecream if you are a choco-addict with high percentage of cacao, and the green tea icecream. Still, too pricy for eh-eh desserts there. Save money and go to Amarino for some nice icecream there. The staffs were nice, polite and quick even there are only 3 waiters. You can go there and buy for take-aways too. In general, for the price of that set, we were pretty satisfied.

Very high quality, fresh fish. We had three different fish dishes and all three were fresh and delicious. Parmesan risotto which accompanied one of the dishes was fantastic, wine list very affordable. On the night we were there (a Saturday) there was only one waiter/busboy for the whole restaurant and he did a better job than 5 guys..fantastic.
