Located in an L shaped strip mall, this restaurant serves incredibly fresh, reasonably priced sushi and Japanese food. You will find the owner present nearly every day and sushi chefs with a creative bent and friendly demeanor when you sit at the sushi bar. each sushi meal comes with miso soup and a salad, and does not disappoint. Although Tokyo has very basic external and interior looks quite "basic" (to put it mildly), we really enjoy dining there. Staff made every effort to keep us (and other visitors we saw) happy. It was very clear than everyone at Tokyo cared about customers. Food was exceptionally fresh and quickly made. Prices are very reasonable, and there were no charges for transforming the "standard" dishes into the custom ones. Tokyo deserves a lot higher rating than 57/80.
This is a "don't judge a book by its cover" place. The outside and the plaza that it's in are nothing special but we have been there twice for lunch and find it a pleasant surprise. The lunch special options are may, portions are good and they include a choice of soups (also good size) or egg roll included. Best of all, they tasted great. If you've been hesitant, give it a try.

When you look at the food such as the Generals chicken and hot and spicy chicken you can see the freshness and care in in preparation. The staff is very attentive to the levels and bring fresh prepared items out constantly. You can avoid fried food altogether and still have a good time with several dishes and steamed vegetables. The hot and sour soup is excellent.Sushi rolls, crab rangoon and the rice and pasta dishes are some of my favorites. We are "forced" to eat here every week due to a meeting held here, but we all look forward to it to get our fix.Great choices and very inexpensive.

I recently ordered sushi as take out and it was wonderful! I highly recommend the crazy crab.But... we also ordered fried rice which I found to be bland, and a chicken dish which was super soggy- it was breaded and should have been somewhat crunchy. I would get their sushi again but nothing else.
