Approached it with some trepidation given some of the negative reviews but discovered a wonderful new dinner place that we will return to soon. The cebiche was well done, cooked in lime juice until just before losing its firmness. Yes, it is fusion but it is done right. We were not fans of the hand rolls but the toro sashimi was fresh and the seared salmon with balsamic was a careful successful balance of sweet and savory. The rock shrimp tempura had a light batter crust that crunch satisfyingly with just a hint of heat. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Look forward to more dishes next visit.

The name of the place sounded a bit confusing, Chino Latino, is it a Mexican restaurant? Chinese? The guys had a Vietnamese looking uniform and the decor was trendy Mexican with asian fusion...What just happened? Somehow it works. It looks beautiful and the place just has a nice vibe to it. The service was nice and fast, they were very friendly. Menu is in English and the dishes sounded good. We tried their snacks banana and sweet potato crisps, with a curry dip. Really good. Then ordered a salmon sashimi they came out with a plate of delicious and fresh sashimi, tip, eat it quickly or share it, if it sits in the sauce for too long the bottom starts cooking in the sauce. We ordered the sliders and pork ribs for main and the wok shrimps and tomato soup for starters. I can really recommend the tomato soup it was creamy a bit too creamy but delicious. The ribs a bit too sweet for my taste but my husband loved them. The sliders were very good. Over all this place is worth trying. It starts filling up around 9 so if yo are an early dinner person like us you will be pretty much on your own. They also have a bar upstairs which looked very nice and trendy, Besame it´s called and around 9 pm it was pretty empty so I guess it must start to fillip after the late dinner so 11 pm probably. Nightlife in Monterrey starts late.
