Very good Japanese food prepared. Enjoy the ambience and located in the Royal Hsinchu hotel. The service is excellent and we ordered a set menu in private room. It was quite and enjoy the business talk. However, one observation that can improved further was the food shouldnât serve when the food served yet to touch . One of my guest step out for restroom and food is untouched but waiters continue to serve the following dish. All becomes cold especially the grilled fish and rice! Overall a great place with quality fish sashimi. I enjoy it..

the restaurant is very small and personal, you MUST make reservations in advance. Excellent food choices, quality, and you are encouraged to share, taste, sample the offerings on your friends plates. It is really great, the chefs make you feel comfortable, and you will have some fun. For over-cautious Western diners, there is nothing bizarre on the menu to worry about.

If you love excellent food and Teppanyaki, you should definitely not pass on the opportunity to visit Mi Lan. Tucked away on an unassuming corner, this restaurant never disappoints. The service is great and very friendly and the quality of the food is downright excellent. For Taiwan standards, they always have a few bottles of nice wine in the cooler. Louis treats his cooking as a form of art. The scallops, shrimp and rib-eye are some of the best Iâve had, especially the scallops...!
