I've been coming to Hammond/Warrenton for over thirty years but had never been to Fultanos. I certainly wasn't missing anything. This was my first and last visit. The first bite of the hard, cardboard like crust was really bad. The sauce was boring but at least the toppings were ok. Those reviewers saying it's the best in town obviously don't get out much. On the positive side all the staff was very attentive and friendly. Too bad their pizza isn't very good!!

So it was my husband's idea to stop at this Pizza Hut for the lunch buffet. I had never been inside this particular location, however, I've read reviews and that may have been one of the reasons why I had never been there, yet I didn't decline his invite and I'm glad I didn't! We arrived just when the buffet began (11:30) and they had the most delicious, fresh, great-tasting pizza selections that honestly, I have ever had at a pizza buffet. There was some really delicious ziti, and I never go for the pasta ... anywhere. The salad was very good although there's not much of a variety of items but for a basic side salad it was perfect; it was FRESH, it was cold, it was crispy and the cinnamon bread sticks and Apple Pizza were really tasty. The dishes and silverware were CLEAN. I was very impressed - in fact, it knocked my socks off. The interior itself is outdated, but clean. I would think being a Pizza Hut that has been in business for as long as I can remember they would invest a little bit of money and renovate this place inside (after all, it is on the 101 - tourists!), but I'm not there to eat the booths and the carpet. Our server was great, her name was Julie and she was very friendly; topped off our drinks and when I ordered some boneless wings she went out of her way to customize a sauce on the side for me. She was professional, personable, helpful and she kept busy the entire time that we were there and there weren't that many people but she didn't just sit around and do nothing, she was constantly doing something. When we left she wished us a great day, she was funny and I really liked her. All in all, I regret having read the reviews on Google. Having eaten all over the country being the retired Foodies that we are and being an honest reviewer myself, I can honestly say that those over-exaggerated reviews were written by people that were probably upset for some insignificant, minor detail as that tends to happen. Trust me when I say the lunch buffet was really great at this location. Thank you Julie for being the friendly person that you are, we will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place for the food, for the service and most definitely for the price ($5.99)!

We dined here after a swim at the Astoria Aquatic Center. Our favorite table is in the front looking out to the street. We started with the Spendini appetizer and a glass of Chianti. Next was the Spinach salad with mushrooms. Chicken Parm was beautifully presented and delicious. Love the new blue color on the walls and very cool new light fixture with lots of twinkle lights in the middle of the dining room.
