Neuruppin (German pronunciation: [nɔʏʁʊˈpiːn]) is a town in Brandenburg, Germany, the administrative seat of Ostprignitz-Ruppin district. It is the birthplace of the novelist Theodor Fontane (1819–1898) and therefore also referred to as Fontanestadt. A garrison town since 1688 and largely rebuilt in a Neoclassical style after a devastating fire in 1787, Neuruppin has the reputation of being "the most Prussian of all Prussian towns".

Als Ausgleich zum Essen im Resort Mark Brandenburg haben wir hier gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden.Sauber eingedeckte Tische auf der Terrasse sowie eine herzliche BegrüÃung und kompetente Bedienung.Die Gerichte waren einschl. Vorspeisen authentisch und selbst gute Esser wurden satt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passte.Eben typisch italienisch - wenn auch die Inhaber wohl keine waren.

We went here for pizza, obviously, and were not disappointed. In fact, we were quite surprised at how large the pizzas were. We could have done with sharing, but we all finished them and left with full and happy bellies. The service was pleasant and we'd happily go again if we happen to go to Neuruppin another time.

OK let's be honest... It's not strictly Italian food but Italian adjusted to German's taste. For example I got carbonara with cream (which is unacceptable in any Italian region) or it was rather cream with ham and pasta. That was enough for me. Dessers correct - very good pana cotta and cream brulle which was average. Very strobg point are waiters who are extremely polite and smiley.
