This family-run restaurant known for its Italian food is also expert at seafood (their salmon is to die for) and wonderful small plates. The outside patio and bar is a great place to spend a summer evening and the bar staff both inside and in the main building are friendly, attentive and imaginative. Try the fresh Blackberry Gin Fizz while blackberries are in season. Yum!

Excellent thin crust pizza and also loved both the charred octopus and squash blossom appetizers. Very friendly wait staff as well. Highly recommended. Drove up from Healdsburg based on a recommendation at the Farmers Market there and it was an excellent experience sitting at the bar.

Service was excellent but food was lackluster. Heirloom tomato salad had a few paper-thin slices of bland tomatoes, whole leaves of a nice lettuce. Pasta with broccoli rabe, sausage, red wine, etc. had about 1/2 cup of sauce standing in the bottom of the bowl. Not very flavorful but a good sized serving. Go for the view or some other dish on the menu.

I had lunch here recently and ordered a sandwich from an interesting menu. It was sort of an Italian sandwich, I can't remember the name, but it was great. The service was just right. I'll go back the next time I'm in Healdsburg.
