La Trattoria Pizzeria-Restaurante

Don't walk by and ignore this restaurant. The food was lovely, the staff were attentive and really friendly and the bill was the biggest surprise of all. We were a party of 14 and the owner couldn't do enough to help. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a visit.

Pizzeria Bar Avenida

One of the first places I visited in Motril. First time I have been here in Summer of 2013 and I was in love with the hospitality and tapas. They have big variety of pizzas and they will deliver it wherever you want inside Motril. They have one of the tastiest tinto de verano and my favorite sandwich Rosca con Atún y Aguacate. They have big variety of alcoholic drinks as well. They have free wifi, just ask for the password

Cerveceria-Ristorante Marelli

Reviewed By SerenidadDerbyshire

We had long been searching for a good little Italian restaurant in Motril and finally found Marelli which is a well kept secret by those who live locally judging by how busy it is. Very nice décor, lovely tapas and great service make it an altogether good experience. We had tapas one evening and then went back a couple of times to enjoy a shared pizza at the bar with wine but each time it was full so clearly you need to make a reservation for the bar area! We'll do that next time. We did, however, eat in the restaurant section which was full shortly after we arrived. The pizzas were very good and wine very good and reasonably priced as you would expect. We have found a little place that is likely to become quite a favourite during the cooler months anyway as not sure how this would work in the summertime.
