Although it was bank holiday Monday and the place was very busy we managed to secure a table after a short wait.The food and service was excellent and we really enjoyed our meal and will have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant for a tasty meal.Hello mary m,Thank you for taking the time to leave a glowing review. My wife and I were visiting Ireland for the first time and stopped here for lunch on Thursday July 25, 2019. We had sandwiches. They were very good and at a reasonable cost. The service was also very good especially considering how crowded it was and the ladies were very nice.

We were here as part of a tour group and were waiting on our van so we stepped inside The Bar and grabbed a quick drink. The service was fast and friendly. Nice place!

We stayed in Kilronan for some days and visited the restaurant several times. It is a busy place during summer, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent and with several meat and fish dishes as well as pizzas. They also offer some vegetarian alternatives. The rooms are small and cosy, and nicely decorated - a good atmosphere. Be prepared to book a table in advance.
