Reviews on International food in Segovia, Province of Segovia, Spain. Segovia is a picturesque old city with twisting alleyways, the highest concentration of Romanesque churches in all of Europe and pedestrian-only streets, all bordered by a medieval wall and two rivers. In 1985, this sleepy Castillan town was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. One of the main tourist attractions is Alcázar, a royal palace built sometime around the 11th century where Queen Isabel agreed to fund Christopher Columbus’ exploration of the New World. The picturesque palace is said to be Walt Disney’s inspiration for Cinderella's Castle.

A different restaurant in Segovia. Enjoy our homemade dishes.
So, found the place accidentally. Great service, tasty food and good wine list. Apple tart was amazing, first time I eat beef tail without bones - really nice! Everything we ordered was fine! Strongly recommend!Thank you very much for your comment EgorSafrygin! It was a pleasure to serve you. We hope to enjoy your visit soon.

I had dinner at El Rincon last weekend and it was a great experience. Both me and my wife had the tasting menu and there was some outstanding dishes and some that could be improved. The outstanding dish was their modern take on empanada which was served in an open flat bread and we also loved their croquettes of whish half of them was served with a small quail egg on top (nearly like a very good version of scotch eggs). I think the foie was undercooked for my liking as well as being overpowered by the serrano ham but the biggest let down was the cochinillo (suckling pig). It was very fatty and the skin wasnât crispy which should not happened in Segovia which is the Mecca of cochinillo. They set the bar high but unfortunately canât deliver it across the whole tasting menu. The restaurant is set in a hotel and the lighting was on full crack (which is often the case in Spain) which isnât the most attractive of ambience but the service from the waiters and wine recommendations made up for it. Would I go here again â yesMuchÃsimas gracias por su opinión.

Great value menu at â¬10 for 3 courses, soup and pasta to start with followed by gammon with potatoes, gammon much too salty for my taste, we had coffee rather than dessert. Very quaint place, worth a visit but Iâd just have a drink. Seats v uncomfortable. Friendly service.

Vegetarians are not exactly spoiled for choice in Segovia so having tried the one more or less vegetarian restaurant we found, the next night we thought we'd give this burger bar/pizza place a go. It's like an up market fast food restaurant which is obviously very popular as it was full up shortly after we'd arrived. You order what you want from the counter and a personal buzzer tells you when your food's ready. The waitress and one of the waiters in particular (who spoke 4 languages!!!!) were very helpful. We had a felafal burger and chips - very tasty! The deserts other people were eating looked very tempting so we had pancakes and cheesecake. Really good. Definitely not fine dining but a tasty and reasonably priced meal, particularly given that the restaurant is on the main route from the aquaduct to the Alcazar.

Nothing went right:- They made no contact for 1 and a half hours.- Delivery address was wrong.- They were VERY unfriendly on the phone.- When delivered in the end, the food was COLD, and there was no soya sauce. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
