I went with my friends here. The parfaits were quite good (and about roughly $8) and the service was fairly quick. If you want to go to a maid cafe, this one is pretty good for it

Had a dinner there because the review was generally good. Disappointed. Food was mediocre, service below average, communication in English impossible. A surprise to me considering it's in Marriott. O well, you can't win every time.Thank you very much for staying Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel. We are very sorry about the dinner menu and communication in English. We aim to make the hotel loved by all of our guests from now on. Please accept our deep apologies for your incovenience we have caused. We look forward to serving you again.PERGOLA manager

I have gone to The Outback locations in other parts of Japan, and they tend to have the steady reliable service one expects from an international franchise. The Nagoya location is no different.Service is friendly, attentive and quick. Menus are in English as well as Japanese (I don*t know if there are other languages).I ordered the Alice Springs Chicken, which I have had countless times in the past. The meal is suitable for a very hungry person. The chicken portion is large. Ordering the soup was a bit of a disappointment, only for the reason that it was luke-warm. Otherwise is was ok.The smoking section is at the bar, and surprisingly I could not smell smoke at all (unlike other places in Japan when the smoking section dominates the restaurant). I didn't smell smoke on my clothes after leaving! The atmosphere is energetic, and happy. Its not a quiet place, and is suitable for groups, couples or families who don't mind a bit of noise.

We ate here for the buffet breakfast. It was excellent with great variety of Western and Japanese food. The chef cooked eggs to order. There was a selection of cereals and the breads were quite varied. The coffee was good and so was the juice. So far so good until the bill. Significantly higher than anywhere else. Some would say you get what you pay for, others would probably limit how many times they return.
