Nobody around on a wet September night but that didn't stop the very friendly staff from producing two excellent zander main dishes and recommending glasses of various local white wines to contrast and to complement the fish. We appreciated the effort, the product and the restrained pricing. Recommended.

Nice restaurant, good cuisine aiming for a higher standard. The atmosphere in the restaurant could still be improved by asking a interior designer for a bit of help and advise but overall a good discovery. Also the wine card is impressive with of course Burgenland wines.

Really a 3 1/2 rating. Nice outdoor seating in the old Hof. The interior is traditional and interesting. The food was typical Austrian fare, so somewhat heavy. Nicely prepared and served. Deep fried chicken livers -- quite tasty. Prices are very reasonable. A nice place when you are in that part of Austria.

If you are around Parndorf or Neusiedl you could spend a nice lunch/breaktfast/dinner at this family-owned and -run restaurant in Mönchhof. Be aware that it is really small (around 15 tables) and is focussed on specific, exclusive meals plus offers a variety of local wines. Quality is high and view is nice, though limited.For earning a 5-star rating the following needs to be noticed:* Access for people with dissability is very limited (no elevator, around 30 stairs)* Clearing dishes was not on-the-spot, despite having a very small number of tables to attend to* The buffet was high-quality but still only offered a limited number of dishes.* The view (which the restaurant is claiming) can be limited depending on where you are seated.So overall, we enjoyed the food and would go there again but we were not over-impressed. Still, for a local restaurant in Burgenland the experience was above-average to be rated.

Vi fandt denne hyggelige restaurant da vi kørte igennem byen.Vi gik ind for at smage nogen lokale vine og smagte to super gode hvidvine.Vi blev mødt af den rigtig venlig tjener som havde helt styr på hans engelsk.Vi kiggede deres menukort igennem og måtte prøve en af deres desserter og det fortrød vi bestemt ikke.Det smagte helt fantastisk.Stedet er virkelig hyggeligt , især deres gårdhave.Vi kommer rigtig gerne igen
