This is a very pleasant dinning area next to the water. Very romantic. You can watch the sunset at evening and you have the feeling you are on board a nice boat. Buffetts are huge and have excellent dishes, greek and international. A beautiful place to taste and enjoy food and best wines Across from this nice restaurant there is a special place called Crystall lounce where some special guests can enjoy the best of the best in services and fresh dishes. We enjoyed our breakfast very relaxing and luxeriously. What a place!

We went there although the character and the decoration of the restaurant is not my favorite, as it was proposed by a friend. Unfortunately, almost all dishes we have ordered were below average. The menu comprises too many selections which put doubt on how the kitchen might afford to prepare all various dishes, even more when the restaurant had only a few clients on Saturday night we went there. Prices were not too high neither low but the most important problem was quality. A trendy presentation and exaggerated description of the menu dishes tries sometimes to hide a poor result.

Asian restaurant in Porto Carras resort. What made our dinner special was the very kind and helpful ladies hosting and serving us. Food was good, mainstream, mixed (sushi, chinese, indian, thai) asian food that can be eaten from anyone, not just fans. Prices were excellent if you take into consideration the place, service and prices of asian restaurants in Greece in general. Wide choice of Porto Carras wines, very reasonably priced.

Well I read the only 2 other reviews and I have to say I was surprised.We have been going to the hotel and the News Cafe year after year.The staff is always friendly and curteous.The food is excellent.The sunset is majestic.Actually the news cafe is one of the reasons I go to Porto carras.I live in Texas and every year I picture my self seating at the news cafe in the summer enjoying my iced Fredo and reading my newspaper.Yes the music is live most of the nights but we enjoy it.Very reasonable prices for value.Strongly recoment

The buffet was quite chaotic, food labels were not explicit. The plates did not seem very clean. However, everything was terrible.
