Had dinner at La Bitta and got a table at the front row of the semi open restaurant - 5 meters from the sea. Next to the really nice setting La Bitta is a bit more upscale place than most osterie and locande in the area (including a nice winelist featuring mainly sardinian wines, but not only). The antipasti and primi were excellent, my main (tuna entrecote) was average. We had a blanc de noir from Cannonau named Bionda and indeed was a bella bionda.

A very enjoyable experience. Service and food were very good. The menu offered a wide range of dishes and the portions were hearty. I enjoyed the risotto with porcini mushrooms to start and my husband had the scampi tagliatelle which was delicious. We both had the lamb chops to follow which although very tasty proved challenging simply due to the size of the portions. Would definitely eat here again.

One of the slowest services I've ever witnessed. Staff was uninterested and inattentive: there were only two tables to serve and we waited ten minutes just to be noticed and be given the menu. No one was kind, welcoming or smiling to us, we felt unwanted. Cappuccino was watery and there wasn't any choice of pastry to go with it or any savory food. This was such a disappointment, the great location goes to waste

Una location da 10 fa da cornice ad una cena di mare dai sapori mai provati prima. Dall'antipasto al dessert tutti i piatti sono curati nei minimi dettagli e non deludono mai. Una menzione speciale va all'insatatina di cozze con peperoni inclusa dall'antipasto misto di mare e, naturalmente, alla carbonara di tonno. Bravi!!!

We visited this restaurant following a recommendation from the manager of our hotel, and we are so glad we did. The surroundings are beautiful. You can sit on the verandah which looks out over vineyards, or inside in the lovely dining room. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, particularly the restaurant manager who is charming and knowledgeable. There is a set menu available featuring classic dishes of Sardinia. The suckling pig was amazing! This menu was served with jugs of very good house wine. You can also choose off the main menu, which was particularly strong on seafood. We enjoyed the experience so much we went two nights in a row!
