We came here by chance and I'm glad we did! Good food at the restaurant, courteous and friendly staff who always smile to the guests. Credit to Michael who explained to me about the facilities available at the serviced apartment. I love the landscaping at the property. Beautiful garden, well kept and clean.Will definitely come again and stay for a night or two at The Haven. Id rate the experience 8/10 for its ambiance and marvel of the work put in to create this restaurant.Food was 7/10 at best only because its VERY expensive. I would have loved to order at least 2 bottles of wine on my visit but ended up deciding otherwise as i did not feel compelled to fork out RM350(the cheapest) for mediocre wine. The food taste good but the customer service by the staffs here are amazing! Burn was very helpful and friendly, extending his service by helping me taking pictures with the exceptional views here. There wasn’t much open for breakfast in Ipoh near our accommodation, but we were lucky to find Lodge 163 cafe. Has egg options for western palates but we went with recommended noodle and rice dishes which were very tasty. We tried Ipoh’s famous white coffee which was an interesting flavour. Having fresh juice was a bonus. The service was friendly and helpful. Prices are low for quality and quantity, delivering great value for money. We definitely recommend and will be back tomorrow!
