In the multi-award-winning gourmet restaurant L.A. Jordan the kitchen presents sophisticated dishes and innovative creations. A culinary experience and a sensory wander through the world of flavors for all gourmets who value something extraordinary.
We enjoyed dinner here; their innovative signature menu. We loved it, however, we felt that some dishes were over complicated. The caviar in the starter carbonara was too much (but, we indulged ourselves) and the calf's head added little to the beautiful fish. But, overall a top experience. Loved the beef and the dessert. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Great collection of wines. Be aware and prepared: it's two fixed menu's. You are a guest in their show. Don't just walk in!

We were looking for a place to host a murder mystery party in wine country. We stumbled upon this one, no longer hungry but in the mood for a drink. The service was impeccable for such a small order, and we talked to the owner about our party plans. She was extremely excited about our plans and eager to work with us. They have a large smoker in the courtyard, and we asked about that. They were planning a BBQ fest a few weeks later, so we returned for that. The BBQ fest was incredible. The flavours we know from across the southern USA, but on fine china with again, impeccable service. We booked our mystery dinner. The dinner was last weekend, and I'm happy to say that cooperation with the owner worked very well. We were able to arrange a 3 course meal at a fixed price to accommodate all dietary restrictions, in a separate room with a wonderfully decorated table. 10 of 10 guests commented on how wonderful the food was. Even those who aren't huge wine connoisseurs were able to appreciate the wines selected. Again, this may be because of the service.I have already sent friends here, and they have already booked their private functions here after 1 meal. We'll be back sometime soon. Even if it just to sit in the garden and have a glass of fine local wine.

An innovative concept, that delivers a holistic experience for visitors comprising a winery, restaurant and hotel. Wines are of finest quality and can be paired with seasonal dishes on the spot. Very much a family-run firm with outstanding dedication to its products and customers.

Having had a really nice meal before we went back and took a friend. Unfortunately incredibly poorly trained staff spoiled what could have been a nice meal. Food was still good if a little pricey but the inept service spoilt it. Our experience started badly when it took 20 minutes to get the wrong wine. We were brought the wrong food, service was slow, numerous other errors.there were so many problems we finally asked to speak to the manager. He was unhelpful not apologetic and the best he could offer was that he would bring us a free espresso . When we just asked for the bill it never came and when we finally got it contained an error. Needless to say we will not be returning. This was not a language issue as we speak good German.

We were in the area shopping for pumpkins, and picked this place at random. Down a small alley, off a small street - a small delightful courtyard. But oh my, A lovely menu, German but not the run of the mill stuff. It was awesome, delicious. I had the pumpkin soup, hubby had the onion, and my daughter had the garlic cream soup. All super good. I had a chicken salad, but there was nothing ordinary about it. The peppered pork (kind of a stew), and pork medallions with mushroom sauce were also great. Finished off with seasonal Dornfelder plum compote with ice cream. What a lovely meal!
