Locally sourced ingredients freshly prepared by our team of chefs who deliver great looking tasty tapas dishes. Great food served in funky yet exquisite surroundings with the friendliest service you'll ever find. (And lots of Gins)
Having visited the castle we walked down into town and finding ourselves in want of a cold drink dropped in at the beer garden.Clearly recently refurbished, it has plenty of seating, loads of flowers and a boule court.

The best kebab shop in town with European influence in cuisine. Come and taste how our food is different and better than any other in our town or even beyond. We serve traditional kebabs, tasty burgers, delicious pizzas and much more.
Ive had lots of kebabs and this one ranks up there with the best i got a mixed one for 10quid it was massive only thing that would of made it better would of been to have a naan bread instead of pitta. As this was to hard to get any meat in and for the price i would of expected a naan.Thank you for your kind feedback. We are glad you have enjoyed your kebab.Regarding your naan bread. We are cooking an traditional turkish style kebabs and not indian style. So hence we do not offer naan bread. Also here in south west it is very uncommon to find naan in any of the kebab shops. We may consider to add it to our menu if the demand would be high.Thank you

Eating at The Beach Stay in and relax with us. At The Beach Hotel we offer some contemporary cooking with traditional and local roots. We figure that food that travels less miles to be on our plates has got to be good. Coupled with a scrummy wine from our
First class meal in the Beach Hotel well recommend, service excellent too. Will return. All cooked to perfection, had 3 courses and excellent price too. Then to know you are helping a great organization is the cherry on the cake.Apologise for the late reply, your positive review is very much appreciated.I do hope you have been back again and your experience was the same.Kind regards

If flavours rule the roost in your kitchen like they do at our Firehouse Grill, you've come to the right place! Get your appetite going with our fiery starters, then dive into a variety of flame grilled dishes coated in your choice of baste including stic
Arrived at just after 4pm, restaurant was almost empty. Should have seen the warning signs when our initial server didnât understand when I asked for a white wine! Daughters meal arrived reasonably quickly, but we waited an age for our starter which was poor. I then had to ask twice where our mains were. When they eventually turned up, the chicken burgers were ok- meat quite dry. We then waited again for our table to be cleared and dessert order taken, after asking 2 different staff members. Only ordered dessert as my daughter was excited about the âice cream factoryâ advertised on the menu, and we had a meal plan for the adults with dessert included. The ice cream factory is a lie- there is a sign on the machine saying it is not self service and we were given a small bowl of ice cream, no option for toppings or sauces. One very disappointed child! Our own dessert wasnât appearing, so we left! Would not return!

We are ideally placed for exploring Exmoor, the Brendon & Quantock Hills or just 10 minutes drive away from the coast at Watchet. Inside, you will find all the character and atmosphere expected including wooden beams, an inglenook fireplace and log fires
We have been staying the village and as only driver, it was great to have excellent food, booze and service on the doorstep.Excellent fish and chips one night, next very tasty salmon en croute with perfectly cooked veg, partner had tasty burger and last night sizzling steak. Chicken madras as you would expect from a pub rather than curry restaurant. The portions are huge. Had to ask for reduced chips as hate wasting food. How anyone manages main course with starter and/or dessert is beyond me!!Very welcoming "guvnor" who keeps excellent ales. Don't expect a wine list but Pinot Grigio was good. Service was swift, polite and we were always checked on after delivery. The food was piping hot - no hanging around under a heater for sure!Summary - great food, huge portions, friendly, efficient service at sensible price.
