Situated right in the city centre (opposite Rathaus), it's a good place for "people watching" and you can sit here watching the world go by for as long as you like. Drinks and food are no better or worse than any other average cafe. A lot of the outside tables are under an arcade so you can still outside even if the weather is bad.The Sunday brunch is quite good - an all-you-can-eat buffet that is slightly better than the usual rubbery scrambled eggs and tasteless croissants.Hi Elisabeth,thank you very much for your review.We're happy u liked our place and most of our food ;-)Hope to see you around soon!All the best

We sat outside quite late in the evening and most tables had someone sitting at them ( there was a heater under the umbrella so it was quite comfortable )The Rump steak was one of the best I've had anywhere but didn't come with potatoes or veg so it was quite pricy although other members had the cheaper but smaller steak with peppercorn sauce and a jacket potato which was reported to be good, too.

das Restaurant liegt gut erreichbar in einem Wohngebiet. Die Kellnerin sind sehr nett. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, dabei fand jeder ein Gericht. Der Gyros war recht gut gewürzt, schmeckte gut. Das preis Leistungsverhältnis ist angemessen. Das Restaurant legt Wert auf Kundenbindung

Although very small the menu contains excellent dishes designed and executed flawlessly but also balanced in a classical sense. Regional wines of very good taste and a very beautiful hall reminding of the old socialist times splendor complete the setting of an evening in La Scala. Great steaks! When in Chemnitz worth visiting

This is a café/bar where you can eat some simple food: burgers, salads, pasta... or you can try some specialities from Chemnitz, like Maccaroni Roter Tor (Red Tower maccaroni), which is what I ordered, and which is basically pasta with sausage and tomato sauce. If you expect something fancy, you will be dissapointed; but if you are looking for something more simple and comforting, it is a good place.O, and it has a big TV with football on it! :)
