We had a wonderful lunch at Mehta. The chef, served several âAmuse Boucheâ items and a glass of sparkling Rosé before we ordered. He took a lot of time explaining the source and preparation of each dish. Being in Martina Franca, itâs unlikely they will ever win a Michelin Star, but they certainly deserve one. It was fantastico!

This is a lovely small restaurant hidden away in Ceglie Messapica. Excellent value for money and well liked by locals. Typical Pugliese cuisine and plenty of it. Only down side opening hours a little erratic, especially in winter and not the easiest place to find.

This (essentially) meat only osteria is one of the many BBQ like restaurants that came up in recents years in Puglia. Braceria (not Breaceria as it is mis-spelled in this page!) is the Italian name for "cooking on embers", or - if you want - just a BBQ place.The meat was excellent and the quantity pantagruelian. The service is extremely friendly with typical open Italian style. What a pleasure not to be welcome by empty formal rituals and "please-leave-a-big-tip-behind" style of greetings!Order a good bottle of Negroamaro wine from the region to accompany the meat and to help your stomach do its work!

Sono ritornato in questo ristorante dopo esserci stato questa estate e posso confermare che dall antipasto al dolce e stato tutto buonissimo sia per quanto riguarda la qualità sia la quantità ( anche eccessiva) con un prezzo onestissimo. Antipasti della casa 2 primi 1 secondo dolce vino acqua bibite caffè ammazza caffè a 25⬠che dire . Consigliatissimo
