Reviews on International food in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. Byron Bay's beaches are dotted with lighthouses and surrounded by bottlenose dolphins, rays, whales and sea turtles. This former New South Wales whaling station turned tourist town is still strongly influenced by its recent bohemian past, when hippie lifestyles flourished. Bongos and didgeridoos sound in parks, sarongs and dreadlocks are common, and vegetarian restaurants abound. Give in to the casual vibe and stroll between beaches and bars for a low-key and happy day.

We had dinner on Friday night at the Fig Tree.As usual excellent food and service. What a great location especially in the middle of an electrical storm which happened last Friday night with all the attendant thunder and lightning!!Fig Tree uses local produce which is creatively put together. We loved the freshness of the food and how well prepared it was.Fig Tree is truly a quality destination restaurant.Big bonus is that the restaurant is BYO.We also really appreciate Katie who leads the restaurant staff. This is a quality Byron dining experience.

At No Bones believe great food should be enjoyed by everyone! There are no obvious vegan cues and most guests don't even make the connection that the menu is plant-based - they just know that the restaurant is inviting, the food is satisfying and deliciou
Finally ..... a restaurant that actually delivers !! After many dining dissapointments elsewhere , my partner and I left this place with satisfied palates and smiles all round . All the dishes we tried were great but The Cheese platter was amazing . All the great reviews No Bones receives are 100% accurate . âï¸âï¸âï¸ Both the service and the food lived up to expectations , not to mention the lovely chilled quiet ambience with appropriate background music . The wait staff were quiet unimposing and helpful.. Unlike most places that make you feel like theyâre doing u a favour . What a pity there arenât more restaurants like this . Well worth the trip from the Gold Coast . We will definitely be back . Paul and Tanya

Loft is perched at the top of Byron Bayâs main street, Jonson Street, overlooking the iconic Beach Hotel, with views across to the beach and down town. Soak up the Byron vibes at Loft, and watch the world go by from above. Our signature cocktails are a bl
If you are after sunset cocktails, with a pumping soundtrack come.If you are after a good feed go elsewhere.Started with drinks.House Pinot which was excellent.Bubbles which was clearly opened a few days ago and flat.I am sure they knew that as there was no questioning, but will try it on with the early customers each night. Then starters. Prawn bun was excellent. Octapus was mostly filler and a few small pieces of octapus with a bland sauce.Mains was Lamb Shoulder for 2. This is a favorite of ours and whenever we order this we get a whole lamb shoulder. Here it was maybe a quarter of a lamb shoulder or maximum half, with hard, stale pita bread from the day before, cos lettuce with sand in it as it hadn't been washed and a bland sauce.Sides were fries and corn.Fries were cold so sent them back. When the hot fires came back was actually quite good.Corn was also cold but didn't bother this time.Clearly aiming at the young, cocktail market. The chef has no idea unfortunately.

A funky cafe located in Byron Bay's Arts and Industry Estate - local, seasonal and ethical food - we cook simply, utilising the region's best produce. We are open Monday to Friday from 7am till 2pm for food, 3pm for drinks and sweets. Thursday nights we o
Delicious mushroom omelette was cooked to perfection and contained at least two types of mushrooms and was topped with very finely grated Parmesan cheese. The coffee was smooth and silky. Atmosphere is casual. Service is friendly. The oven baked cherry tomatoes awaiting a lunch treat looked fabulous.

Favourite place to go in Byron for some live music. They always have a bunch of great bands lined up for the night! Staff were a little bit rude to the guys in our group, but I guess they are probably just always on watch. :)
