Charming, individually, uncomplicated, personally. The Monsalvy is a successful mixture of café, bar, restaurant, deli, bakery and wine shop.
Went there to meet a business partner of mine for breakfast and was definitely surprised. Nice cosy location, friendly staff, a huge menu and top service and quality for very reasonable prices. Choose between 30 different breakfasts, not to count the variety of eggs you can choose from. Fresh homemade bread made it perfect for me! Was my first time, BUT not my last time!Thank you very much.Nice to see you enjoyed your stay with us. We always try our best. We look forward to another visit.

I would recommend this restaurant for couples seeking a cozy atmosphere, excellent service and delicious select & specialized menu offerings. It was a pleasure to dine in this restaurant and we are looking forward to returning in the near future. The owners are hands on and make you feel at home immediately.Thank you, Kristin & Christian G (party of three).

Visited this place in view to get a bite to eat and totally didn't expect what I got. They have a real sandy beach and summer feeling and the small lake is excellently equipped for waterskiing! Plenty of people doing acrobatics in the water while we sampled the menu. Burgers and salads were great and the Kaiserschmarn are wonderful... All served with a smile! I would definitely recommend it for a summer vibe and reasonably priced food and service!

An Austrian chef ( he found the most tender Venison loin Iâve ever had )cooking in Bavaria ( Bavarian cream dessert was refreshing and clean ) using Italian ( fresh truffles are amazing in the chestnut soup....gnocchi with Venison were light and lovely as the starch for the venison and Brussel sprouts and mushrooms) all in the beautiful settings of a quiet, classic Munich neighborhood. A grand, century old building that was decorated comfortably and with seasonal warmth. Beautiful. Staff, mostly Stefan ( sp ? ) was very attentive as his âbad English â was perfect and also welcoming to non German speaking guests on the second floor dining room. He was Fantastisch, fantastico, perfect.Price fix ( 98 Euro and a bargain in my opinion for the quality and service) menu started with a wonderful salmon tartare dotted with caviar. The texture and truffle balance of the chestnut soup had to be the reason for the Merlot wine pairing suggestion which was well thought out. Incredible compliment. An American enjoyed the European dinner and will be back for sure in this not so touristy area.
