There are so many so called restaurants on the ski slopes that treat people like cattle and serve food for for cattle. The Goldknopf is a true exception. Fantastic food and service at very reasonable prices, exceptional burgers and clam linguini historic. Highly recommended

Per una settimana intera abbiamo cenato con grande soddisfazione , serviti in maniera esemplare, gustando una cucina varia , di respiro moderno ( sashimi di tonno superbo)con solide basi nella tradizione più verace (cervo ai mirtilli di bosco) oppure rivisitata con maestria (splendidi canederli di rapa rossa al gorgonzola) Zuppe di sapore tutto altoatesino e carni tenerissime che profumano di pascolo.Dessert di fantasiosa elaborazione e correttissima esecuzione.Cantina vasta e sapientemente proposta a prezzi magari rivedibili, ma tutto sommato non spropositati.Servizio impeccabile e direi affettuoso.Proprio bravi!!!

Local delicous food with a wonderful view but topped by really nice hosts!Max, the owner and his wife make you feel at home in a small romantic timber house.The food is truly homemade and delicous.The house is a bit remote and difficult to find but really worth to visit.Try the Hauswurst or Kaiserscharrn and enjoy a friendly atmosphere and the stunning view at the Schlern.I love it

Just a quick lunch with my kids after morning skying.Asked for two Coke and two Fanta (orange juice).Well, Fanta was "water un-colored", definitely far from a orange juice yellow typical color.Have a look to attached picture of it...Asked to the waiter to change it, but he just replayed saying me "... this is an high quality facility. We wouldn't bring low-quality drinks !!" Well, look to the picture and you could evaluate if ⬠4.8 worth such a Fanta !!
