The restaurant Les Jardins de Malyar invites you to travel through its Indo-Pakistani cuisine and its decoration. The founder of the very first Indian restaurant in the Pays de Gex (Rajpoute in Ornex from 1987 to February 2017), Mr Ghulam, put all his exp
Ghulambhai was as welcoming as ever. We had experienced his hospitality in his previous restaurant Rajpoute which closed after almost 30 years. This new venue is much brighter and roomier. Tastefully decorated and a large terrace which we were unable to use due to rain. A place which we will be coming to every time we return to Geneva. The food range has changed as they now cater to different allergies too. Ghulambhai always has a personal touch to all the foods as he grows some of the ingredients in his garden. The food was delicious and generous portions. we ended up taking a Doggy Bag home.Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts with the community. The whole team thanks you and looks forward to making you travel by the plate, the decor and the smile ... See you soon!

Indian Restaurant
We took the standard lunchtime menu. Helpful waiter, quick service and the food was delightful and surprisingly plentiful. The cheese naan were the only weak point, I have the impression that processed cheese was used instead of fresh. We are certainly going back again and again.Bonjour,Nous vous remercions pour votre avis.Au plaisir de vous revoir prochainement !!L'équipe Le Mahal

Welcoming was very nice after seeing improvements in the terrace, parking, outside decoration and plants arrangements.Waiters are very agreable, as always Joel is in every detail, bravo!Dishes are tasty, well presented and with the right spices. Butter chicken and veggies (courgettes and small onions) are to die for!We are looking for to come again and enjoy the new terrace!

Here at Shalimar we are a local Indian restaurant which specialises in hand made Indian food made from fresh ingredients and made to order. We have highly experienced chefs in order to provide the best of Indian food and our service is spectacular. We are
We went on a Friday night and luckily we had booked because the restaurant was very busy with lots of people also queuing for takeaways. The starters of sheeh kebabs and onion baji were fine and for the main the korma was good and the chicken jalfrezi was great!!! The only problem was the mixed vegetables which were just potatoes - come on Shalimar, we expect vegetables in mixed vegetables!! Nevertheless this was a nice meal and it made a good first impression. I think I'll be back again for the jalfrezi - nice and spicy with a good kick to it.Hi Man_From_GenevaItâs great you love our food. We are committed to giving our customers the best of fresh traditional Indian food. This means our restaurant does become quite busy. We are working tirelessly to give our customers the fresh quality food the want and yes Iâd always advise to book in advance. I will however look into our mixed vegetables dish and look at ways of improving. Hopefully we can get that 5 star review the next time you visit.
