Best Indian in the area, heard very good things about Asha for a while now, it didnât disappoint one bit, from the beautiful building to the chic modern interior... the staff are friendly and loved to have a bit of banter with us, they were also efficient and quick to bring our drinks and courses out.The food itself was stunning, weâve tried lots of curry houses around the area and found them all under par, but this place delivers on flavour and spice, not to mention portion sizes which were great. We all started with pops and picks, the popadoms were spiced which was a nice twist, the pickle trays had the standard fair, but also spiced coconut which was delish. For starters we had the onion bhaji which were perfect and the Asha Pot, which was a tasty unusual mix of tandoori chicken with cheese, pickles and sweet potato, amazing. For mains we had Chicken Jalfrezi, Lamb Shashlick Korahi and Chicken Achari all perfectly spiced at the heat requested, with the meat cooked really well. All in all a really great place that we will be returning to many times in the future.

We did not mind the long wait for the second course. There was plenty of food but some dishes were barely warm. The drinks are pricey and the food was not value for money. The staff were very friendly, a little too friendly sometimes. You had to have a sense of humour. When it came to pay the card machine did not work and we all had to pool our cash. The restaurant is in an old building which is not wheelchair friendly. Would give this place a miss in future.

In a town packed full of takeaways and eat in's louth isn't short of options. However, the quality of Deedar compared to the others is impeccable! The food is exceptional, always hot, fresh and so tasty! The owner is a real gem, always so warm and welcoming and really cares about his customers! This is a man who should get your local custom should you choose to eat Indian out! I find myself coming back every time I fancy Indian! Can't recommend enough! Looking forward to the restaurant, book me in on opening night!

Arrived at the restaurant in recommendations, didn't think it lived up to what we had been told. On holiday so opted to dine here as local to where we stayed. Waiter service very poor and unprofessional, restaurant very large and clean, had the banquet special priced at £11.95 for 3 course- starter, main and rice, party of 6 dined, all had different starters and main meals, however chicken didn't live up the expectations, very rubbery and sauces in dishes didn't have the spice kick to what an Indians should have, had better.
