Had a wonderful lunch today at Zaffron Kitchen at West Gate. Really authentic Northern Indian food. We had Papdi Chaat as starter which is very nice with crispy crust with sweet yogurt inside which is nice combination. We ordered Zaffron Tandoori Platter which comes with mutton kebab, fish Tikka, chicken Tikka and Murg Pudina. I love the Murg Pudina which is mint chicken that is quite unique and rarely seen at most Indian restaurants. The butter chicken is rich and very tender. Yellow Dal Tadka is very flavourful. The lamb shank Biryani is not bad but not impressive. Food was very good and atmosphere is nice too. Easy to find location at West Gate.

Prata was good. Curries were nice and thick. The Tarik was Super good. Service was impeccable. Ambience was nice. Menu was full of anything you can dream of : within reason; itâs an Indian Muslim restaurant. Prices were also reasonable. Plus air conditioned comfort. I was actually planning a trip much further away just for prata and murtabak, but Iâm so Glad I gave this place a chance. What more can one ask for¿

First of all , keep your hopes & expectation of taste when you visit this place. Over crowded (donât know why ) . Food taste is just below average. I prefer north Indian food which had a terrible taste and get frustrated after having naan basket and paneer burji, ordered biryani which was pathetic in all means. They gave me fried rice with brown in colour not made of basmati rice. My humble request please only go when you have bad day (you will feel more) or you are unable to find any food on this Plannet. Sorry missed - Fresh lime was awesome !! Must try :P

Well off the beaten track in a fairly non descript setting but good solid North Indian food at great prices and solid service. Friendly staff make all the difference. Nothing fancy but if you just want decent food at good prices then worth a visit.
