Welcome to the spice club Now well established with a good reputation, high-quality quotient and really tasty tucker, The spice Club has shown how attractive an Indian restaurant can be. Smart and modern, with a displays of ancient artifacts juxtaposed ag
Fish Malabari was creamy and delicately spiced with the Rockling perfectly cooked. The Chicken Korma was equally as enjoyable. The traditional Gajar Halwa was a delicious warm mix of carrots, milk, sugar and nuts, Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

Came here with visiting family from LA and the food was delicious. Ordered a heap of items of the menu and by far the best thing was the Goa Fish Curry. Was so tasty. Really great atmosphere, but the drinks were a little pricey for what they were. Everything else, good.

Went to the Indian Mahal Baxter for my birthday. Having lived in Birmingham UK arguably the curry capital of the world and visited India on several occasions I love indian food and have tried lots of different dishes. The Indian Mahal Sunday buffet is a very reasonably priced buffet at $15.99pp. There is a good range of dishes such as onion bhajees tandoori chicken dhal veg curry butter chicken roghan Josh beef vindaloo lamb biryiani with nan and popadoms as well as a dessert. The dishes are well flavoured and well cooked and delicious. Reading some of the other reviews I am confused about the comments regarding the lack of regional variation. They specialise in one region and as to lacking flavour and heat we found all dishes to be excellent and you can not only taste all the spices you can also see some of the whole spices. As to the atmosphere it is very indian and I loved the TV with the Indian adverts and Bollywood music. Will be back next Sunday.
The fact that place opened up next to one of Melbourne's best Indian restaurants (Kasturi) baffled me. On walking past on several occasions and noting that the place had very few customers (while Kasturi was buzzing) I thought we must give this place a try as it could be fantastic. I was disappointed. My partners beer was warm, the waitress advised that they had not been in the fridge long!!! The entree was just warm and the mains were fine, not amazing, just fine. I won't be rushing back as the option next door is a far better choice.
