Calling itself "The Heart & Soul of the Chesapeake Bay," the town of Saint Michaels, Maryland retains the look and feel of a 19th century seaport. Walk on red brick sidewalks past the Victorian homes and boutique shops of the historic district, or head down to the pier in search of famously fresh seafood. The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum preserves the history of Saint Michaels, with restored examples of "bugeyes" and "skipjacks," unique boats developed by the fisherman of Chesapeake Bay.

We stayed at this Inn Feb 11 and 12 and were very disappointed. The place was messy. Our room had bugs, and black mold around the vents, and water marks on bathroom ceiling. Looks rundown. When brought to the attention id the innkeeper he seemed aware of the. problems but indifferent to fixing. Stay at your own risk.

Stayed at the inn for 2 nights as part of wedding guest block. Did not check other motels, but those at less than 1/2 the cost on arrival and return trips were so much better. AC unit loud, and no one even emptied trash cans. Do not intend to stay there again. The town was really attractive.

WOW! Having stayed at many B&B’s over the years this place hands down has the absolute best breakfast ever! After their breakfast two meals a day was all we required. Everything was fresh, homemade and scrumptious! The Inn was decorated in period and very clean. The view was beyond compare. The grounds were beautiful.
