I’ve just spent 2 very comfortable nights at Oros Plus in Oakleigh. From the prompt response to my email query about the availability of facilities for disabled guests to smooth check in it was a great experience. The bathroom set up is always crucial for me. It was spacious, with rails in all the right places, lever taps, a shower seat, lightweight hand held shower and non slip flooring. All were most welcome. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, good lighting and good quality soft furnishings plus spotlessly clean surfaces completed the picture. A couple of suggestions. Perhaps think about placing furniture so that a walker or wheelchair can be manoeuvred easily. I needed to ask my daughter to move the armchair so I could get to the kitchenette. And a higher seated armchair - even a carver style dining chair- would have been great. I don’t use a wheelchair so could only sit on the desk chair. Not a hassle this time because I was out and about a lot but might be annoying to others who like me find low soft chairs hard to get up from. I’ll definitely be back.

Chadstone "Executive" Motel is 100% NOT an Executive Motel. It couldn't be further from the truth. I stayed there once before, overnight only, about 2 years ago, but as I was only in Melbourne for a few hours, I didn't really notice the entire surroundings. This time I was there for 3 nights, and OMG!! I'm so sorry I did. Whilst its budget accommodation, it is dirty, untidy and after a conversation with a local source, was informed the motel is rented out by DHS families etc. A majority of the rooms are used & hired as long term accommodation for people 'doing it tough' so to speak. Nothing against this, but it's not an Executive Motel as the name claims. The windows, doors, carpets.. NOTHING, is clean. Everything is old, tired and dirty. I believe this accommodation should not be listed on websites as an Executive Motel.

This hotel was only booked for its location for my visit unsure if I would stay again The hotel is in desperate need of some TLC it was a good size room clean sheets but not as clean in the bathroom as I would like in the shower you could see where the tiles were cleaned up to as maybe only a short person cleans the tiles above this they were quite dirty and dusty windows could do with a clean once again it's time for the Hotel to have a paint job and clean up The staff were very friendly The one think that I found amusing was the 1960s clock radio that shows the age of the hotel have not seen one of these since the 80s The price was OK and the towels and beds very clean
