couple of hiccups but still a great stay
Reviewed By nickN8788QVRooms were clean. Smelled nice (my wife wants me to say). The pool is perfect for young travelers. Our room was spacious. It provided a separate living area for the kids. We each had our own tv. Strangely, it didn't interfere with each other, volume-wise. The hiccup were I had to plug in the tv cable box and the curtains didn't black out the outdoor street lights.

Motel 6 Oakdale is located off of SR 120/ SR108, between Yosemite National Park and the Pacific Ocean. Restaurants are nearby. California's beaches are 7 miles away. Reserve our conference room. Enjoy our outdoor pool. Free WiFi in all modern guestrooms.

Reviewed By CaptainmommyWe had a reservation guaranteed by a credit card for Saturday, April 3, 2021. When we went to check into our hotel at 7:30 pm, we found out they had given our room away because someone else wanted it, and we didn’t answer our phone earlier that afternoon. The desk clerk was rude and unapologetic. Motel 6 was sold out and had no other rooms to offer us. Being Easter weekend, all the hotels were sold out in area. I had no choice but to drive the 4 hours back home. I will never stay in another Motel 6 again, ever, and I’ll warn everyone about my experience. I’m just glad I made it home safely that night , no thanks to Motel 6.

She told us the rooms are clean but need a lot of work. She was not joking, the drapes have holes, & cut marks they are so old school little silver hooks very dingy. There was multiple holes that had been patched. Makes you wonder what happened in this room. The towels were a joke they were paper thin with little strings hanging off them. They were clean but smelled like bleach. The pillows another joke flat as a pancake, bring your own & only 2 pillows per bed You can definitely tell the owners are really running a flop house, & they are beyond cheap. Spend maybe 10bucks more somewhere else. AVOID THIS PLACE!!
