Fuel up on free hot breakfast before a trip to Lake Meredith, just 20 minutes west.

Not as good anymore
Reviewed By Cindy TWe stayed here 6 years ago and it was a fantastic place to stay. It has been down graded since the new owners took over. The website still says it serves breakfast but breakfast is no longer served. An advertisement for Bennigan’s breakfast was all that was offered. (Another establishment also owned by the current owner of the hotel) There is only a single canister of coffee sitting out on the counter in the dining area of the hotel. The tea, water and ice that was previously offered is no longer. No coffee selections in the room either. The free pop corn and cookies have been replaced by prepackaged items that are for sale. The mattresses are no longer the beautiful, comfy, pillow top type. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Only one, light weight blanket is provided for the bed. I had to ask for the sheets and pillows for the sofa pull out bed. The mattress on the pull out was worn and too thin, you could feel the springs through the mattress. They did have the sheets for the pull out but they did not have any pillows. The stars are for cleanliness and the friendly staff. The pool was out of order. We were disappointed. We will definitely find another place to stay next time we are in the area.

Reviewed By NorthStar13761406367This motel is very clean! The only complaint was the internet does not work at times! Breakfast serve red was awesome! The rooms are very clean! The beds are very comfortable! This has a Sonic next to this hotel which is very handy!

Reviewed By PlattonianPro Tip: bring a swimming suit. They have an indoor swimming pool that can be used year round. It's rare to find an indoor pool at a hotel in Texas, so we didn't pack our suits. Overall, it was a good stay. We love the big flat screen TV with DirectTV. Breakfast buffet was really good. Plenty of warm choices, including scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. Only issue I found is that we did not get maid service in our room during our 3 night stay. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have fresh towel and fresh soap (they only gave us one bar of soap).
