We are presently staying here. I really would have loved to give more stars. The rooms are very clean and serviced daily with fresh towels. The 2 ladies who clean and attend to breakfast are amazing and very friendly. Waiter and reception staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely and restaurant food delicious. I will be really sad to leave tomorrow. We will be back for sure

The Country Hotel Bosco Ciancio is the main building of the ancient manor of Ciancio Barons. Surrounded by 30 acres of chestnut woods, the bailey is located inside the Etna Regional Park. Villa Ciancio is an historical building from the 1800s that has been accurately and passionately restored, a perfect example of the traditional rural architecture of the Etna area. Restaurant, solarium and 15 rooms are available for guests.
Managed by a young and friendly team, this refurbished old manor house in the middle of a dense chestnut forest, oozes charm. Not feasible without your own transport. When we stayed it was absolutely quiet and peaceful especially at night. The house dog was calm and lovely. The rooms on the ground floor around the courtyard are small but seem to have new heating and possibly cooling. They look directly over the valley. On the other side, the top of Etna can be seen between the buildings. Fab breakfast with local jams. Dinner was excellent, but the choice could better reflect the terrior. The wine was too expensive and no vino della casa. There is a well stocked bar and a raised swimming pool with sun loungers etc. It all seemed to run pretty smoothly and it was a memorable stay.

I couldn't choose a better place to stay. This hotel is located in a very quit area; if you want to relax this is the place. There weren't so many residents at the time maybe it was September nearly the end of summer but we where treated very well. Room always clean breakfast very good freshly prepared. For lunch or dinner there is a set menu for everyday and you need to book. Loved the food. Nice views a spatially Etna; plenty of parking space. Definitely I would choose it again. Keep up the good job.

Terrible place . Rooms were not cleaned. There was rat poison bag under the wardrobe. Floor were dirty. Bed sheets with holes i am afraid these were done by rats but not sure. My family and i stayed only 15min and went back to reception to informed them that we are leaving. Surprisingly enough when we told them that it was dirty and there was rat poison they were not shocked and offered to wash room.
